Rikard Grönborg The second season as Tappara’s head coach ended with a severe disappointment. The championship tube broke when Ilves rumbled to Tappara’s summer vacation in the quarterfinals with a 4-0 win.

After last season’s championship, Tappara decided to give more responsibility to young players such as Great for Keskinen and Benjamin Rautiainen.

According to Grönborg, about half of Tappara’s players will change next season.
– I’m very hopeful for next season. However, a lot of evaluation and situation review must be done.
