VfL Bochum has equipped defense talent Kacper Koscierski with a professional contract. The 17-year-old will move up to the professionals from summer. Koscierski has been trained at VfL since 2017 and is currently active in the U19, for which he played 15 games this season and contributed five goals and 14 templates. Nothing is known about the length of the contract because it is not yet of legal age.
“The path of Kacper Koscierski could hardly be more exemplary. Talented, ambitious, focused – the prerequisites are correct to continue to successfully follow the path that has already been taken. We will support it as best as possible,” said Managing Director Ilja Kaenzig.
Koscierski added: “I am very pleased that I can go on the way to VfL. As a young player, I imagined how it would be to be able to play in Vonovia Ruhrstadion to play in front of my own fans for VfL. I have now come a little closer to my trainers and supervisors in the talent work, which I really appreciate. I, what a high level is required there.
