The name of Leonardo Scatturice arose in the Argentine media from a confusing episode that involves his private plane, a tombardier registered N18ru. The aircraft, from Miami, landed in Buenos Aires without being reviewed by customs, unleashing a scandal that put two sensitive issues in the sights: the lax controls in the private flight industry and the possible connections with actors close to the government that could have collaborated to avoid uncomfortable records.
Scatturice, owner of the plane, became the last year an important advisor for Santiago Caputo, Javier Milei’s main strategist. His influence became evident when he recommended Andrés Vázquez to command the DGI and also to head, from Miami, the organization of the Argentine version of the Conservative Political Action Conference, known as CPAC.
Origins The first time that the name of Scatturice appeared in the media was during the last years of the Government of Cristina Kirchner. His company, C3 Consults, was involved in an espionage investigation and his phone was intervened within the framework of the internal fierce within the Secretariat of Intelligence between Antonio “Jaime” Stiuso and Fernando Pocino. Scatturice maintained a close relationship with the agents aligned with a pig, which made him a target of interest to his adversaries.
The scandal exposed a network of links between agents of the Secretariat and businessmen such as Scatturice who did commercial intelligence. But in those conversations there was everything, even the talks with his friend, the media businessman Daniel Hadad, with whom they shared impressions about Argentina, surveys and even the movements of the journalist Jorge Lanata who was about to travel to the Seychelles Islands to investigate Kirchnerism.
After that episode, Scatturice decided to move away from the country. He first settled in Panama and later in the United States, where he married the American Diana Marquardt and seeks to obtain permanent residence (Green Card). In his new life, he continued expanding his business network and his influence on power circles.
Business. Scatturice owns at least two airplanes: the Bombardier Registration N18ru and the Embraer Registration N6GD, which was seen in Buenos Aires with the plotting of a company Royal Class, which is awarded to the entrepreneur although he denies it.
However, there are indications that corroborate their relationship. Scatturice registered a society in Miami called, precisely, Royal Class Air LLC on February 29, 2024. In addition, the controversy plane was stored in the Hangar de Royal Class, a company that in turn employs Laura Belén Arrieta, the passenger who transported the not reviewed suitcases. That is to say that Scatturice owns the plane, an employer of Arrieta and Del Hangar where the aircraft was saved.
Arrieta also appears as an employee of Voreno SRL, a textile company owned by Mario de la Fuente, friend and partner of Scatturice, but is also a son -in -law of Daniel Hadad. De la Fuente married the daughter of the media businessman two weeks ago. To the party were all Hadad’s friends, except Scatturice who could not leave because he was with the process of the Green Card unfinished.
Lobby. Scatturice maintains a close relationship with CPAC, the influential conservative political organization in the United States. Together with Arrieta, Scatturice has been key in the organization of CPAC events outside the United States, including editions in Argentina. In parallel with this role he also created Tactic Global, a Lobby consultant in Washington, in society with the same CPAC members, but also with the former Donald Trump advisor, Barry Bennet. In its presentation letter, TACTIC Global is described as “a lobby consultant and strategy focused on influencing public policies and global opportunities. Founded to help customers navigate international regulations and markets”.
Apart from the narrative chachara, the most important asset of Global TACTIC is that it has Bennett in its ranks, which would be something like running with the commissioner’s horse.
This week, Scatturice followed the novelties that arrived from Argentina from a hotel in Washington, something worried. But with Trump and Milei’s triumphs, maybe Tactic are three good years ahead.
Friends. Over the years, Daniel Hadad has been a constant in the life of Leonardo Scatturice. They even did commercial operations together. In 2017, the technology entrepreneur bought him an apartment in the exclusive continuing South Beach in Miami for approximately 2 million dollars. Years later, Scatturice acquired another property in the contiguous tower for 6 million dollars, consolidating its presence in one of the most prestigious areas of the city.
Hadad, who spends much of the year in Miami driving Infobae’s businesses in Latin America, remains in close contact with Scatturice and, just a few days ago, both were seen sharing a moment in the continuum gardens, reinforcing the connection between the media entrepreneur and the enigmatic consultant that, from the United States, continues to exert their influence on politics and businesses in Argentina.
Another endearing friend of Scatturice is the businessman Mario Montoto, president of the Argentine-Israeli Chamber of Commerce, where Scatturice has sponsored events with his company OCP Tech.
