With all clubs that have a “SpVgg” in the name, you can also leave it out colloquially, so the Greuther Fürth mentioned in the article is actually not completely wrong. The nickname “Kleeblatt” of course also works. The only name that really doesn’t work is SpVgg Fürth.

The Fürth Ultras (yes, they really exist) want to have removed the “Greuther” for reasons of tradition, even if they are mostly too young to have experienced these times themselves. To be honest, I think it is very outrageous that in the 90s of Vestenbergsgreuth you have financially saved the most, and nothing wants to know about it today. The Fürther fan scene should be humbly showing itself, and the “Greuther” continues to bear in the name.
