A man was injured last night at a stabbing on the Markt in Eindhoven. Part of the market, near the hill gallery, and the Hermanus Boexstraat were dropped off for trace research. Agents were looking around with flashlights, because a knife might have been thrown away.

The perpetrator left, probably in the direction of the station. There was a trail of blood on the street. The victim was treated by ambulance personnel. No one had been arrested last night. The reason for the stabbing is not yet clear.
