On the assize process against MZ (39), the police of the Vlas zone (Kortrijk, Kuurne and Lendelede) explained to its first findings. The accused fled away after the facts, but nevertheless let the emergency services notify. Z. immediately stated to local residents and police officers that he had killed Heidi Braye (52).
