Muff Potter announced the death of her former guitarist Dennis Schneider on Instagram. “Dear ones, unfortunately we have a very sad news for you today,” the band post begins. “Our friend Dennis Scheider died yesterday after a short, serious illness. At the age of 47, much too early! We are shocked and stunned.”
Muff Potter also wrote: “Dennis has shaped the band Muff Potter very crucially for many years. Of course, in his function as a guitarist, composer and copywriter, but above all through his indestructible optimism, his openness and, last but not least, his very own, special joke. We are infinitely grateful that we were able to spend this long and intensive time with you.
Our thoughts are among his closest relatives. We now have to become aware of the difficult to reach reality of this situation. Please love you, the time is short. ‘Everything that is, everything that was /we are still here, we are still there.’ Shredder, Nagel, Felix, Brami. “
