The acute relegation threatened third division club SpVgg Unterhaching cannot score points against Alemannia Aachen. The only goal of the game resulted from a bitter slip – generally the game was affected by heavy rain.

The sporty precarious situation of the Unterhaching game association continues to come to a head: the fight against Alemannia Aachen in heavy rain and on slippery lawn, the third league’s bottom of the table lost 0: 2 (0: 1). Lukas Scepanik (40th) and Gianluca Gaudino (62nd) met for the guests on the 30th matchday. The saving bank moves further and further into the distance for the Hachinger.

The heavy rain and the softened lawn in the Unterhaching sports park challenged both teams on Saturday – the ball jumped off again and again, the many bad passes resulted in a tedious game.

The wet lawn also played a bitter role for the Hachingen -based role at the first goal: Max Lamby slipped to clarify the ball when trying, namely on its own goal line. Aachen’s Anton Heinz had enough space to flank in front of the box – Lukas Scepanik headed (40th, 0: 1).

Offensive Aachener increased by Gianluca Gaudino

But Unterhaching stayed on: Shortly after the goal, Fabio Torsiello fought his way through to the baseline, Tim Hoops came to the ball-but Aachen keeper Jan Olschowsky caught his well-placed spacer shot with a parade.

After the half -time break, Aachen switched back to offensive mode. It took a clean parade of Kai Eiseles to ward off the fast first attack scepanics. What scepanik did not converted, Gianluca Gaudino implemented in the 62nd minute: the Hachinger still blocked his first shot, the second hammered it past Konstantin Heide into the short corner (62nd, 0: 2).

From there, the game rippled only: the guests from North Rhine-Westphalia allowed themselves inaccuracies, but the Hachinger could not take advantage of them and found no ideas. It remained 0-2. The Hachingers currently only have the Bayern Cup that they can still dream of – after all, they were able to conquer in the semi -finals Eintracht Bamberg (3: 1) and move into the final.

Missing Security concepts and Coaching

In addition to the great sporting deficits, the Upper Bavarian third division is currently having to deal with some other challenges: On the one hand, Unterhaching threatens a penalty because interim coaches – and at the same time a candidate for the head coach post – Sven Bender does not have the necessary coaching license. And then there is the tumult for the security concept: until shortly before the game it was not clear whether the duel between Aachen and Unterhaching could take place in the home stadium. Due to the insufficient security concept in the Hachinger Sportpark, a cancellation of the third division duel classified as a high-risk game was in the room for a long time.
