The year 2023 has started in a dramatic way for an 81-year-old man from Obdam. He was robbed by two men on Sunday night when he parked his car. A message from Burgernet was distributed and the police are looking for witnesses.
The victim of the robbery parked his car in Adrianus Cyriacus Bleijsstraat around 9 p.m. and was then robbed. He may have been waiting. The perpetrators made off with various goods.
Both men wore black coats, one of them had a light hood on. When the man alerted the police, the suspects had already disappeared from sight. Burgernet reported that the two men were not found.

The police have launched an investigation and are asking anyone who has witnessed the incident, or who may have images of the suspects, to come forward.
