Technology, design, innovation. Tales of Africa is a special project from the world of African handicrafts, which includes, among other things, batik prints, weaving with geometric patterns and precious embroidery. This collaboration fuses the aesthetics of 8 by YOOX with traditional local craftsmanship. The resulting collections bear the signatures of six designers from the African continent.
Each of them represents a tradition of their own or another country and interprets it in a modern way with authentic raw materials, styles and innovative techniques.
“Tales of Africa is an important project for 8 by YOOX, which increasingly aims to provide an inclusive platform and voice for talent from all parts of the world. The Tales of Africa x 8 by YOOX collection will be available exclusively on YOOX from the beginning of May.
