The wife demands over € 100,000 from Gatu. The ex-player has had to sell his wool in Corbeanca, but half of the money from the sale was not enough for Tamara.
Gatu bought an apartment in Bucharest with the money from the wool.
“Otherwise, I wouldn’t have had a place to go,” he explained.
The divorce will be locked in February. However, Gatu has no idea of the date.
– I don’t know. My lawyer takes care of these things, he said.
Gatu won handball Olympic silver in Montreal in 1976 and bronze in Munich in 1972.
