An eight-year-old girl and five adults died in Nicaragua early this week from stings from Africanized honeybees. A bus plunged 50 meters deep into a ravine, broke some beehives there, after which the insects attacked the 45 passengers in a frenzy. “The bees have taken a girl seriously. Her entire body was filled with about five dozen stitches,” a witness told local media.
