6 dead and 344 injured, but perpetrator of Christmas market attack focuses on politics: “There will be elections again in September”

The man who attacked the Christmas market in the German city of Magdeburg last year with a rental car admitted during the trial that he was indeed behind the wheel. However, Taleb al-Abdulmohsen (51) did not apologize or show any sign of remorse. A total of six people were killed and more than 300 others were injured.
