Boas have found 58 nitrous oxide bottles in a bush on the Fellenoord ring road in Eindhoven. There were full and empty bottles, all of which were seized.
The boas initially responded to the smell of burning and smoke, but this turned out to be due to the explosion of heavy fireworks. “As I was walking back, I looked in the bushes and saw a nitrous oxide cylinder,” said one of the extraordinary investigating officers. “It turned out to be 58 in the end.”
“That could have had terrible consequences.”
“58 full and empty nitrous oxide cylinders along a busy ring road, where fireworks had just exploded. That could have had terrible consequences,” says the boa.
The boas called the police and ensured that the cylinders were collected safely.
It is not known what will happen next with the 58 cylinders.
