An estimated 5,500 liters of radioactive water has leaked from Japan’s Fukushima nuclear power plant. No sign of contamination has been detected outside the Fukushima nuclear power plant, an operator at the nuclear power plant said on Wednesday local time. A spokesperson for the Japanese energy company TEPCO told the AFP news agency that the leak was discovered in a part of the factory that processes contaminated water.
