3x “I Can Only Be Me” by Eva Cassidy

Eva Cassidy would have turned 60 on February 2nd. The jazz singer’s career ended in 1996 when she died of cancer at the age of 33. Up to this point, only the live album “Live At Blues Alley” had appeared; her early death interrupted work on her debut Eva By Heart, which her band and producer Chris Blondo completed in 1997. At that moment, Cassidy’s posthumous career began, during which, among other things, 2002’s “Imagine” reached number 1 in the British album charts.

Another record will be released on March 3rd. “I Can Only Be Me”. Cassidy’s vocal passages were isolated and restored, with the London Symphony Orchestra responsible for the instrumentation.
