VfL Osnabrück strengthened the center of defense with Niklas Wiemann. The 23-year-old comes from regional league club SV Rödinghausen, for whom he has made 16 appearances this season, scoring four goals and providing three assists.
“We are very happy that we were able to sign Niklas Wiemann this winter. Our thanks also go to those responsible at SV Rödinghausen. Niklas is at home as a left-footed player in central defence, but can also play in defensive midfield or on the left flank in defence. He is very strong in the air both defensively and offensively and not only has a mentality and attitude in the duel that suits us perfectly,” said sporting director Amir Shapourzadeh.
