The struggling third division team SSV Ulm 1846 has signed Mirnes Pepic, who has no club. At table 18th. The 29-year-old central midfielder signed a contract until the end of the season. Pepic, who was under contract with Erzgebirge Aue until the summer, comes with the experience of 186 third division games.
“With Mirnes Pepic we are getting a very experienced player who can help us immediately, even if he hasn’t played in the last few months. Pavel and Mirnes know each other very well, so we are happy that we were able to make this happen at short notice,” said managing director Stephan Schwarz about the transfer of the Montenegrin, who has played 89 games under Pavel Dotchev so far – there have been no more under any coach. Pepic explained: “When the call came, I didn’t have to think for long. SSV Ulm 1846 Football is a great club and I really want to help us stay in the league. The fact that I grew up in the region and know the coach very well makes it easier for me to get started in Ulm.”
