At VfL without much chance
At VfL Osnabrück, Leandro Putaro no longer had any great prospects of playing time, and now the 26-year-old is using Arminia Bielefeld as a way out. The attacking player returns to DSC on a year-long loan, for which he scored two goals in 36 games from 2016 to 2018. Putaro, who is the 19th signing at the second division relegated team, made 27 appearances for Osnabrück last season and scored one goal.
“I was very happy about Arminia Bielefeld’s interest and I’m taking this step with absolute conviction because I want to play. Michael Mutzel and Mitch Kniat tried very hard for me, I also know the coach from our time in Verl. In this respect, the conviction was quickly there when VfL agreed to return to DSC, ”said Putaro, who under Kniat in 2022 was directly involved in five goals in twelve games in the 3rd division.
