Ten days after the tragedy in the bar that was hit by a deadly fire in Crans-Montana, Switzerland, what many already feared has become clear. The staircase, which operator Jacques Moretti (49) had narrowed considerably during renovation work, became a fatal trap: no fewer than 34 of the 40 victims died there. This is evident from a report by the Italian police.
