323 samples of deadly viruses disappeared from laboratory in Australia

The Australian government has launched an investigation into the disappearance of 323 samples of some of the world’s most deadly viruses from a laboratory in Queensland state. These are the hantavirus (mortality rate: 38 percent), the Hendra virus (mortality rate: 57 percent) and the lyssavirus, which is the causative agent of rabies (mortality rate: 100 percent).
