The Eisbären are back in the DEL final after beating the Mannheimer Adler 3-0. 10,035 fans cheer in the MB Arena. The semi-final series ends 3:2. The first final in the MB Arena against Munich will already take place on Friday (7:30 p.m.). Crazy game plan!

Mannheim relies on simple “old-school ice hockey”. Means: close the rear and use every shooting opportunity in front. The polar bears, on the other hand, are fast, try combination ice hockey and are unlucky when White hits the post (12th) on the power play. There are no goals in the first third. Not yet!
Lightning start of the polar bears in the second third. Manuel Wiederer grabs the puck and runs alone towards goalkeeper Brückmann. The Adler repels the first shot, and Wiederer sinks the follow-up shot to make it 1-0 (21st). His fourth playoff goal.
Then goalkeeper Niederberger keeps the polar bears in the game and saves the narrow lead in the final third. His best playoff game.
