SV Waldhof Mannheim presented the sixth newcomer with Diego Michel (27). The midfielder comes from FC Sochaux-Montbéliard free of charge. For the Frenchman, who completed 20 games (one goal) in the third -class Championnat National last season, it is the first stop outside of his homeland.
“Diego Michel is a very interesting player who is supposed to help us with his skill level in the central midfield. He brings many qualities that enrich our game with the ball. With his overview, he skillfully staged his teammates, but can also become the second row dangerous. His profile has convinced us, which is why we decided to integrate him into our team,” said sports chief Gerhard Zuber.
