Viktoria Köln has once again suffered a defeat after five third division victories in a row. Around 1860 Munich it set a 1-2 (1-0) home defeat on Saturday afternoon.
The Janßen-Elf had taken the lead through Said El Mala (29th). But with a double strike by Patrick Hobsch (73.) and Maximilian Wolfram (75th), the lions turned the game to the surprising but not undeserved away win. After the defeat, the Viktoria has three points behind the third Saarbrücken, while the Munich -based meters won important points in the relegation battle.
In the first phase of the game, the home side were the more active team. The Munich Löwen hardly set offensive accents and were too busy on the defensive. However, the Cologne residents also achieved hardly any dangerous situations in front of the 1860 goalkeeper Marco Hiller.

Then Cologne’s Said El Mala caught a throw -in from the Munich in his own penalty area. After a double pass with Donny Bogićević, the midfielder started in his own half, could not be shaken off, so that it was then unexcited to 1-0 for the Viktoria from 16 meters (29th).
The gate looked like a wake -up call for the Munich. Suddenly it worked better with the offensive game, so that in 1860 there was also a chance. The game was now balanced, but gates no longer scored until the break.
After the break more speed in the game
After the break tea, the guests tried to build on the better final phase of the first half. However, there were no opportunities. Viktoria lurked patiently. Overall, however, there was more speed in the game.
El Mala (59th) on the Cologne side and Guttau for the lions (61st) had the first really good opportunities after the change, but both Munich’s Max Reinthaler and Viktoria Tobias Eisenhuth prevented further goals with good defensive actions.
Hobsch and Wolfram turn the game
Then Löwen striker Patrick Hobsch focused on twice. First, after a cross from the right he missed a good header chance when he placed the ball too centrally (66.). But seven minutes later, after a cross from the right, the Cologne goal, who was guarded by Dudu, got ahead and hit the head of seven meters to 1-1.
And the Munich team turned the game shortly after. A free kick from the Maximilian Wolfram, which was substituted ten minutes earlier, from 22 meters of half-left position, Tor-des-month-suspect flew into the right upper corner of the Viktoria on the tour of the guest (75th), which it had not been unsuccessful for a long time, but was now deserved.
Yellow-red for Malek el Mala six minutes after a substitution
The guests now acted more confidently, while the Viktoria was shocked by the double strike. Not much could be achieved anymore. Significantly then the dismissal for Malek El Mala.
It had been substituted for his brother Said after 81 minutes. After a yellow card in the 85th minute, the striker saw the yellow-red card just two minutes later after another foul.
Greger headball on the crossbar
Now the Cologne team had a chance to equalize. Captain Christoph Greger took a free kick from the left with his head, but the ball only clapped the crossbar (90.+2).
Now to Rostock
For the Viktoria, there is next to one away game. The kick -off for the game at Hansa Rostock is on Sunday (09.02.25) at 1.30 p.m.
