After a dream start in the 3rd league with ten points from four games, TSG Hoffenheim II suffered its second season loss on Wednesday evening.

In a duel that was led over long distances of the first half at eye level, the hosts from Cologne managed to score the lead. Hoffenheim clarified a corner kick from his own penalty area, Viktoria defender Frank Ronstadt took the ball directly and hit the bottom edge of the crossbar. The ball jumped back into the field, where Tim Kloss dusted down to 1-0 (29th minute).

The Hoffenheimers were not very impressed by the goal and developed some promising chances without being successful. Shortly before the break, the next neck strike for the guests – Ruben Reisig saw the second yellow card and thus yellow -red (45th) after a foul.
