25th Anniversary: Oasis announce BE HERE NOW reissue

To celebrate the 25th anniversary, Oasis BE HERE NOW’s third album is being reissued on vinyl. Accompanying the announcement is a lyric video for the track “D’You Know What I Mean?” (NG’s 2016 Rethink)”. BE HERE NOW was first released on August 21, 1997 and produced by Owen Morris and Noel Gallagher.

The forthcoming reissue features songs, all of which have been remastered, including the nine-minute track “All Around The World” and the long-running hit “Stand By Me.” BE HERE NOW ranks as the best-selling album to date in the first seven days of its release in the history of the UK official charts. According to the label Big Brother Recordings, the newly mastered record now enjoys “legendary status as the sound of a generation-defining band at their absolute peak”. Especially in retrospect, the Britpopper’s third album is viewed more critically; many reviewers and fans consider it the Gallagher brothers’ first not-very-good album. The bar was also very high after “Definitely Maybe” and “(What’s the Story) Morning Glory?”.

BE HERE NOW is due out on August 19th and will be available on limited edition silver LP, double picture disc and cassette. BE HERE NOW is now available in the band’s online shop. You can find the link to it here.
