25-year-old Hoogevener has lost his driver’s license after a collision under the influence

A 25-year-old man from Hoogeveen had to hand in his driver’s license after he was involved in a collision in a drunken state last night. No one was injured in this.

After the accident on the Buizerdlaan, the Hoogevener turned out to have drunk a lot, the police reported. He was then taken for a second breathalyzer test at the police station, after which his driver’s license was confiscated.

An official report has been made that will be processed by the Public Prosecution Service at a later date.
