“Just like with car drivers, it is also life -threatening as a cyclist to stream on the mobile,” says Lien Depoorter, spokesperson for the Bruges police.
“A known problem, but also stubborn, it turns out. Traffic actions like these are certainly repeated.”
Last week there were already targeted checks in the city center and there was a preventive campaign on social media.
