The film is called “American Dream: The 21 Savage Story” – there is no release date yet, but there is an album release.
Shayaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, aka 21 Savage, has announced a biopic titled American Dream: The 21 Savage Story. The US rapper broke the news with an Instagram post and shared a picture of himself, Childish Gambino and “Stranger Things” actor Caleb McLaughlin. He then published a trailer for the film biography on YouTube.

Rapper and actor Childish Gambino will play the adult artist in the 21 Savage biopic, while McLaughlin will play the younger version.
Gambino and 21 Savage have collaborated in the past for songs like “Monster“ from Savage’s I AM > I WAS and “12.38” from 3.15.20.
It is currently not entirely clear whether Abraham-Joseph himself will appear in the film. In the four-minute preview you can see some familiar faces, like Natasha Lyonne (“Orange Is the New Black”) and Victoria Pedretti (“You”). There is also no information about the release of the biopic yet.

New biography album
The rapper has already included a new track in the teaser for the film and immediately announced the new record AMERICAN DREAM. The album is scheduled to come out on January 12, 2024 and will probably also act as a soundtrack for the film.
