2024 was a record year for traffic jams on the Flemish highways, November the heaviest traffic jam month ever

2024 beats the traffic jam record year 2023 and is the new absolute record year since the start of traffic measurements on the Flemish highways. This was evident from figures from the Flemish Traffic Center on Thursday. Moreover, there has never been as much traffic jam as last November. The main causes were bad weather conditions and damage to the road.
