In the 2022 FIFA World Cup to be held in Qatar, the groups were determined by drawing lots.
Qatar Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamed Al Sani and FIFA President Gianni Infantino wished success to the teams competing in the tournament.
After the draw, which was attended by World Cup champion Brazilian Cafu and German Lothar Matthaus, as well as Jay-Jay Okocha, Tim Cahill, Adel Ahmed MalAllah, Ali Daei, Bora Milutinovic and Rabah Madjer, the groups were formed as follows:

In the championship, the teams that complete their groups in the first two places will have their names written in the last 16 rounds.
Group matches will be played between 21 November and 2 December. In the opening match of the tournament, host Qatar will face Ecuador in Group A.
The World Cup will find its owner with the final match on 18 December.

The official mascot of the Qatar 2022 World Cup la’eeb, It was introduced before the drawing of lots held in Doha. La’eeb means “super talented actress” in Arabic.
