According to organizers, around 20,000 people demonstrated at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin against Putin’s war of aggression against Ukraine. Numerous artists performed and sang for peace.

“Sound of Peace” was announced by the organizers as “Europe’s largest musical rally” against the Ukraine war. The police assumed 15,000 spectators.

Among the speakers on stage was Natalia Klitschko, wife of the mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, who currently lives in Berlin. “What is happening to my country now is terrible,” said Natalia Klitschko. “It is important to see the masses that come together here. It is important to see that the whole world stands for Ukraine”.

Performing musicians included Marius Müller-Westernhagen, David Garrett, Clueso, Michael Patrick Kelly, Fury in the Slaughterhouse, In Extremo, Mia, Mine, Peter Maffay, Revolverheld, Sarah Connor, Silbermond The BossHoss and Zoe Wees.
