This morning the police confiscated the driver’s license of a 20-year-old driver from the municipality of Aa en Hunze. His driving behavior attracted the attention of officers, after which he was arrested in Gasselte.
A breath test at the scene showed that he had drunk too much, after which he was arrested. At the police station it turned out that he was so under the influence that his driver’s license was confiscated.
He was also given an additional six-hour driving ban for today. This means, among other things, that you are not allowed to participate in traffic on your bicycle. The amount of the fine is not yet known.
