“2 percent NATO standard is certainly possible by next summer,” says Minister Theo Francken

According to Minister of Defense Theo Francken (N-VA), we can already achieve the NATO standard of 2 percent by next summer. NATO boss Mark Rutte demands that of our country. As it is now foreseen in the budget, that would only work within four years. However, Francken is optimistic, and believes that we get through “political will”.
