The 1. FC Kaiserslautern has ended its small result crisis and can continue to dream of the Bundesliga after the 3: 1 (1: 0) home victory via Fortuna Düsseldorf.

Captain Marlon Ritter (14th minute), striker Ragnar Ache (73.) and Luca Sirch (90.+3) brought the Palatinate to the winning road with their goals. For the Düsseldorf team, Tim Oberdorf scored for the meantime 1: 1 (60th).

Palatinate again in third place

The Lauterers improved at relegation rank three. Previously, they had only won once in five games.

For the Fortuna from Düsseldorf, the train up, on the other hand, has probably left. The Fortunes slipped to ninth place and have five points behind Kaiserslautern.

Knight tightly into the left corner

The game on the Betzenberg had a great setting with the best evening mood and almost 50,000 visitors. The Lauterer put the guests under pressure. The FCK lead fell early when Ritter grabbed the ball and after a short dribbling tight to 1-0, flat in the left corner. The Betze trembled for the first time.

Even after a good half hour, the Lauterer cheered, but Jan Elvedi’s header was withdrawn. Maximilian Bauer had previously jumped the ball on the hand during a curious campaign.

Oberdorf with the equalization

Until then, the red devils were the clearly superior team and continued driven by their own fans.

However, the sheet turned after the change. Now the Fortunes became braver and more offensive – with success. After a header by Siebert, Oberdorf pushed the ball badly over the line – 1: 1.

Ache rises the highest

It remained exciting and the hosts followed. After a corner kicked by Florian Kleinhansl, Ragnar Ache climbed up and higher and then headed the ball in the goal by putting on. Keeper Florian Kastenmeier had no chance of defense – his 16th goal of the season. The Betze shook a second time.

When Sirch set the final point in added time with his goal, the louder luck was perfect that evening.
