The Hamburger SV fought with a lot of effort at least until Sunday at the top of the table of the 2nd Bundesliga. On Friday evening, the HSV won 2-1 (1: 1) with a penalty in added time at promoted Prussia Münster.
Goal scorer Davie Selke met both before and after the break in the fourth minute of stoppage time. Lukas Frenkert (24th minute) had the Prussians in the lead with his third goal of the season.
This means that the HSV remains undefeated even in the eighth game under coach Merlin Polzin. With 38 points from 21 games, the Hamburgers first passed the 1. FC Köln, who only plays against FC Schalke 04 on Sunday. Despite the second defeat in series, Münster remains before the relegation ranks.

Jahn Regensburg is subject to Fürth despite leadership
