A committed SV Elversberg celebrated a victory against 1. FC Kaiserslautern in the derby. The match winner was again corner specialist Frederik Keidel. The Saarlanders won 2: 1 (1: 0) against the FCK traveled from a distance of just 59 kilometers.
In the 43rd minute, Luca Schnellbacher benefited from a mistake in the goalkeeper of the Lauterer, which had been very well laid down to date. But the goalkeeper of the home side also afforded a mistake – the substitute Richmond Tachie Ice cold converted a penalty caused by him (79.). Then Frederik Schmal cheered the hosts after a corner by Felix Keidel (90.+2). Keidel also delivered the template for the victory of the Elversberger against Nuremberg.
“I enjoyed it”said Elversberg coach Vincent Wagner after the final whistle at the Sportschau-Mikrophon. “Nevertheless, you have to admit: we still have too many small mistakes that give the opponent the opportunity to score goals. “
Committed to the start of both teams
The Elversberger, who runs with Schnellbacher and Cup scorer Felix Keidel, did not really want to accept the favorite position of Torsten Lieberknecht’s team from the start. Kaiserslautern developed more game shares in the initial phase. But the home side around coach Vincent Wagner lurked on every little chance to stage themselves.
But Elversberg’s weakness this evening was already an example in the 9th minute: At a counterattack, Lukasz Poreba drove the ball through the midfield and tried to play the Bambase Conde, which was running. But because the pass was a tick to an unclean one, Konde had problems with the first contact, and over was the counter. Something similar should repeat itself in the next half hour.
Kaiserslautern harmless
For the guests, the fermentation-related mistake of the two strikers Kenny-Prince Redondo and Ivan Prtajin noticed early on: only Capitano Marlon Ritter, who caused the goal in the case of resting balls. So he tried it in the 28th minute from about 35 meters, but could not overcome the attentive Elversberger keeper Nicolas Kristof with the fluttering ball.
Kristof’s colleague on the opposite side, Julian Krahl, already had a lot more to do: In the 14th minute, the keeper was able to save quite against Tom Zimmerschied. But when the beefy SVE player Lasse Günther shook two Lauterer and shot on the goal, Krahl had to show his whole class (37th). Only seconds later the keeper was very attentive again when he was on the ball in front of Amara Conde.
Krahl, the pitch bird
If the goalkeeper had previously retained his team from a deficit, he was introduced to the host with a carver: his weak pass on defense chief Maxwell Gyamfi brought his colleagues into the Bredouille so that he only played the ball into his feet with a long step.
Schnellbacher quickly forwarded the unintentional pass to Conte in the middle, which had been positioned in a promising position. But instead of trying to get to the goal against three opponents, Conte put the ball calmly and precisely back to Schnellbacher, who pushed in.
Halftime two: Lautern improved
Lautern’s playground was extended at the beginning of the second half. Simon Asta had injured himself early in a long step and had already been replaced in the 11th minute. But it was only from minute 46.
But it was always just knights whose actions caused the goal. Again, Kristof had to go against a Fresitoß, which the Lauterer pulled directly onto the goal this time. Nevertheless, Elversberg cheered again – but too early: Conte had pushed Luca Sirch away in front of his goal.
Kristof is also long next to it
Lautern ran and fought – and then brought a city to get back into the game: After a corner, SVE keeper Kristof fisted after the ball, but only hit the head of the highly jumping Lauter Faride Alidou. Referee Florian Exner looked at the scene at the Var on the screen and rightly pointed to the penalty point. Kristof had completely missed the ball. The Tachie, which had just been substituted, did not miss the chance and turned the penalty hard at the bottom left.
In the last ten minutes of the game plus injury time, both teams wanted the decisive goal. He was then reserved for Elversberg. As against the 1st FC Nürnberg, Keidel hit a corner. The substitute pressed the ball from the right side narrowly over the line. The SVE celebrates the second victory of the still young season.
