The police started an investigation based on various videos on social media. The public prosecutor’s office now confirms that a person has been arrested in connection with the explosion of the fireworks bomb on New Year’s Eve in Emelgem near Izegem. The 19-year-old young man was brought to trial and has since been released on conditions.
