185 000 visitors for Ostend at Anchor

After two years of absence, Ostend voor Anker was once again able to provide a unique atmosphere in the Ostend city center. Over four days, 185,000 people attended the festival, the largest of its kind on the North Sea. That is less than the 200,000 visitors that the organization was aiming for.

Mayor Bart Tommelein is satisfied with the 2022 edition. “We look back on a very successful four days of Ostend at Anchor with 185,000 visitors. Thousands of families descended on Vindictivelaan, Visserskaai, Sint-Petrus-en-Paulusplein, the various docks and marinas for a mix of authenticity, music and ships. Oostende voor Anker once again provided an unparalleled atmosphere and we are already looking forward to the next edition.”
