150,000 euros for tips leading to RAF trio. Were they also in the Northern Netherlands?

The Public Prosecution Service (OM) of Verden is offering a 150,000 euro reward for the golden tip that leads to the arrest of three former RAF terrorists.

Justice and the police focus mainly on people from the immediate vicinity of the trio, who have been sought for years. The trio was also wanted in the past in the Netherlands, Friesland in particular and East Groningen.

These are the former suspected RAF terrorists Ernst-Volker Staub, Burkhard Garweg and Daniela Marie Luise Klette. The trio is suspected of attempted murder and several violent robberies.

Investigators believe the former RAF trio did not commit the crimes out of political motivation, but rather to secure their livelihoods, reports said. various German media, including the NDR

According to the Public Prosecution Service, the three lived in Germany from at least 1999 to 2016. During this time they were supported by as yet unknown people. According to the researchers, one of the wanted persons has ‘demonstrably intensive contacts in Germany’.

That is why the researchers hope for new clues about the trio, especially from their personal environment – from relatives or sympathizers, for example.

Since 2020, Garweg, Staub and Burdock have been on Europol’s European Most Wanted list, i.e. the most wanted criminals in Europe.
