Freek Postma was found on Wednesday November 22, 2023 in the back garden of a house on the Baansingel in Alkmaar. Young Frisian turned out to have died through a crime.
Earlier in the evening, the police received a report of a fight between several people in the house. Shots were also heard there. After investigation, the body of Freek was found just under three hours after the report. He turned out to be killed by bullet shots.
Arrested man turned out not to be a suspect
That same evening a 58-year-old man from Alkmaar was arrested, but he turned out not to have been involved in the shooting.
The perpetrator of the shooting is still without a trace after two years of research. With a reward of 15,000 euros, the police and the judiciary hope to detect it.
