Boa’s from the municipality of Geldrop-Mierlo, together with the police, traced the perpetrator of a striking dumping in a forest on Rederijklaan in Mierlo. There, enforcers found 140 laughing gas bottles on Monday evening. The perpetrator has been fined, the municipality says.
On Monday evening, enforcers from the municipality received a report about the dumping of the laughing gas bottles around half past six. Boas immediately went to the indicated place and found a total of 140 bottles in the forest and other dumped waste.
The forest was immediately cleaned and employees of the municipality started an investigation into the perpetrator or perpetrators together with the police. With success, it now appears.
“Laughing gas, which is often used recreationally, can lead to serious health problems and also causes contamination of our nature reserves,” the municipality warns.
