C‘Is it a lot of free time in summer, why not take advantage of it to read? There are proposals for all genres, for all ages. We have selected 14 titles, divided into two groups, starting from those intended for the little ones.
Who does not remember the very delicate moment – not always voluntary – in which their child has abandoned the pacifier? To accompany the parents in this step, the psychotherapist Alberto Pellai and his wife, the psycho -pedagogist Barbara Tamborini, offer a tender fairy tale, in rhyme. Also keep the other stories for the little ones, with illustrated books that they can browse and mothers and dads light. There is the new adventure of the successful series Il Bosco dei Ragli, a book full of poetry on the stones, another – award -winning in the United States – on the adventure of a puppy exhausted by the heat that takes place with the breeze of the sea, and the first of the Scandinavian series on the Mimun, troll similar to hippos, who are looking for a hibernation house.
There are two recommended books for the first readings independently; A yellow to be solved for the investigation and a story that tackles, with the right language, the theme of artificial intelligence.
For the older ones, we start with a diary on the first tiring days in middle schools, To continue with an Activity Book with 17 puzzles to be resolved. To report the only children’s book that Ian Fleming wrote when he was at the height of James Bond’s success. He wanted to “detach” with a story for his son Caspar. But this too, on a car that can fly, was very successful.
For history enthusiasts, the novel about the life of Goffredo Mameli, who wrote our hymn and died at 21 to defend the Roman Republic. Of pure entertainment, the adventure of an American girl in Italy, between love and discovery of ice cream, and that of an orphaned, rebellious girl, who is sent to a mysterious institute because they give her a beautiful “strilled”.
We conclude with a true, dramatic story that has shaken everyone’s consciences: that of Andrea, The boy with pink trouserswho also inspired the film with Claudia Pandolfi.
“Growing up also means learning to be without and doing without”. The two authors, he psychotherapist, she psycho -pedagogist, husband and wife in life, remember him in the agile introduction. Doing without the pacifier is a fundamental stop in growth, even if it is not easy. This book to read together, in rhyme, helps to make that day less painful. The pacifier “has a small house to return to”, has a mother who waits for him, and she tells her that that child, to whom she company, has become great and no longer needs him.

Ian Fleming wrote his only children’s novel in 1964, when he was at the height of success with James Bond. He wanted to take a break and find a nice story for his son Caspar. However, he could not rest because the fairy tale, published in episodes in a magazine, with the beautiful illustrations of John Burningham, was very successful.
