12 football players from Yeni Mersin İdmanyurdu, which is in the TFF 2nd League Red Group, were referred to the Professional Football Disciplinary Board (PFDK) as a precaution. Evaluating the situation of the football players, PFDK sentenced all 12 referred football players to deprivation of rights for various periods. The Mersin team, which has a transfer ban in the league, is expected to continue with its missing squad for the remainder of the season.
