The fire brigade and police searched for a missing Nijmegen resident in the water on the Lange Linden near Katwijk on Monday evening. The man’s car was found near a beach. The towels that were there also probably belong to this missing man. Divers from Den Bosch went into the water and an ambulance and a trauma helicopter came to Katwijk, but the Nijmegen resident was not found. The search would continue on Tuesday.
