The 22-year-old man from Sint-Michielsgestel who went overboard on the Maas last night is still missing. This is what the police said this morning. The man fell from a boat around half past nine for unknown reasons. The search was called off at the end of the evening due to darkness. The search resumed this morning. That happened around a quarter past ten.
During the search last night, police units from East Brabant and East Netherlands and a diving team from the fire brigade were deployed. Employees of Rijkswaterstaat and a special team of the police that are involved in underwater searches also helped. The latter team continued the search this morning.
