Around a quarter to eleven a tree fell on a parked car on Dorpsweg in Meeuwen. There was no one in the car at the time, a photographer said. So no one was injured.
The car has a big dent in the roof. A second car was also damaged. The fire brigade had to be called in to remove the tree. According to the photographer, the tree was quite rotten at the bottom. Today’s storm has given the tree the last push.
