112 news: fatal accident in Hoogeloon • car ended up in Made in ditch

The evening rush hour has been very busy on three highways in Brabant. On the A2 there was still a traffic jam of 11 kilometers between the De Hogt and Maarheeze junction at around seven o’clock. The delay was then about 20 minutes. The cause of the delay was an accident near Valkenswaard. By seven-thirty the worst problems were over.

On the A67, from Eindhoven in the direction of Venlo, there was already a traffic jam from about half past four. At the ‘highlight’ it was at least 12 kilometers long and the extra time was more than an hour. By 7 p.m. Friday evening, the traffic jam had shrunk to 5 kilometers. The right lane was closed for a long time after a truck broke down. Detours were possible via the Het Vonderen junction in Limburg on the A2 and A73. There was hardly any delay on the A67 either.

It was also between five and six on the A73. There was a traffic jam between Rijkevoort and Nijmegen-Dukenburg, which was a maximum of 10 kilometers long. The cause of the traffic jam on this north-south connection, which was over by half past six, was an accident.
