A cyclist was seriously injured this afternoon after being hit by a city bus. That happened on the Hendrik Gerard Dirckxstraat in Roosendaal. The cyclist allegedly suddenly left the cycle path, causing the bus to avoid him in time and collide with him.
Emergency services, including an air ambulance, were present. The cyclist was taken to hospital. The passengers of the bus transferred to another bus.
