On November 1 last year, a man stole expensive smartphones in Deurne and Helmond. At the end of that month he also struck twice in Dordrecht. The police have not yet been able to track him down and have therefore distributed photos of the suspect.
He applied the same tactics on November 1, both around twelve o’clock in the afternoon in a shop on the Veestraat in Helmond and an hour later at a restaurant on the Markt in Deurne. He came in with a note in his hands, placed it on a victim’s smartphone and moments later took both the note and the phone with him. After his successful action in Helmond, he fled in a black Volkswagen with German license plates. The camera images showing the car were too unclear to decipher the license plate. The police therefore suspect him of having stolen several expensive smartphones from various places in our country.
